Three Things Most of Us Get Wrong
There are three big things in life that most of us get wrong¹. At least part of the time.
1. We worship our work. We let it define who we are. We’ll sacrifice family time, re-creation, spiritual development, health, and almost anything else for the idol of work.
2. We work at play. We plan, we research, we worry about our performance, we lose our tempers. Ever throw a tennis racket or golf club after a bad return or a dubbed shot?
3. We play at worship. Who we are is not defined by our relationship with God. We casually slip in and out of worship services. We give lip service to spiritual development. We rely more on our own abilities, our own skills, than seeking the power of God.
So how about you? This Easter weekend might be a great time to take a look at how you’re living your life and adjust your priorities as needed.
